OUR NAME

RYR Virtual is a non-profit organization and is not affiliated with “Ryanair”, therefore you won’t can find the Ryanair name in this site. We use “RYR Virtual” as name for our site because it is not a registered trademark. All images that you can see are screenshots made from Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 by our virtual pilots. The domain and our name are very different to domain of “Ryanair” to prevent the diversion of its customers. You will not find the timetables and schedules of the flights that might abuse of Ryanair intellectual property.

ABOUT US

We started flying in late 2008 when several friends got together and decided flying in group with RYR callsign on the IVAO network. During the first months hesitate to go ahead with the idea but several months later we finally created the website to support them and all virtual pilots who wanted to be part of the proyect. Today, with this new-looking website, we are looking forward to continuing growing in an friendly atmosphere along with all fans of PMDG Simulations Boeing 737-800.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER?

RYR VA knows what each of the network pilots need thanks to its experience and wants to offer it to all those who wish to join us. Therefore, we own a custom system called Airline Gestor (AG in advance).

Our system is a database to which every RYR member can log into in real time.

With AG, booking flights and verifying all information regarding those flights before you take the left seat is possible in a professional way. The information provided in the system is the following:

    - Routes.
    - Callsign.
    - Fuel to load.
    - Flight time (TRIP).
    - Flight time according to the fuel loaded (FPLN FUEL).
    - Registration of the real aircraft operating that flight.
    - Penalties committed during the flight (%).
    - METAR information for the departure and arrival airports.

In our website, members can see all RYR flights being carried out in real time and their status. Our system has also available a statistics section (TOP 10 of the month, all flights marked with 100%, total number of flights in the current month and previous months, flights of the day, number of routes from each airport, etc.)

Flight reporting is quite easy. A client software have to be downloaded from our website to establish a connecttion between the simulator and our AG. This software will track our flight. Finally, the pilot in command sends the pirep and the flight is evaluated. Also, incomes from the flight are sent automatically to pilot in command´s virtual account.

ABOUT AIRLINE GESTOR

It is an ACARS system (Aircraft Communications Addressing and Reporting System) which allow pilots to automatically report every flight flown. It is not just a flight reporting system, but also a virtual economic and finantial system that is connected each VA. It gives the chance to operate your aircraft assuming a virtual cost and income: paying for refueling you tanks, buying, selling or leasing aircrafts or just paying for the trip itself (move the aircraft, crew salaries, maintenance, etc.) among may other features. This software is in continuous development so within virtual aviation its possibilities are infinite and successful.
